(More customer reviews)I have now had this product for a couple of months and have gotten some good use out of it.It is a wonderful tool if you want to work on your kicking technique with numerous kicks in a short period of time.It is especially useful for those that want to practice strong kicks in limited space and with no partner to kick to.The best part is, if you use it correctly, you don't have to waste any time or energy chasing after your ball after you have kicked it!

(More customer reviews)I play college level lacrosse and as I'm in college, I have no money. I bought this seeing a great deal and a good opportunity to practice. The product description was lacking, but i figured that from the picture it looked sturdy enough. They neglect to show (in the picture) that the net is connected to the frame with velcro bands that are, indeed, not sturdy at all. The first shot I took on it (around 75 mph) three of the bands snapped in two. I have since reconnected the net with twine instead of the velcro and it works well, but the initial product should specify that the quality is made for small children (not even high-school level) whose shot speed is not quite so high. 75 mph isn't even that fast...

Franklin Premier Folding Goal (5-Ft. x 10-Ft.) Review

I play 2x a week with a group of 10-15 adults.

I upgraded from PUGG 6 Footer Portable Training Goal Boxed Set (Two Goals & Bag)

The PUGG Goals are great, 10 seconds to put up to play, and they fold up nicely.

Then why the upgrade?

Pros:
1) Size.Its much more fun to take shots at goal, when there is a decent sized target to take aim at.
2) Sturdy goal.A full grown adults take shots at this goal, and the ball bounces back from the Post.
3) Playing a game of soccer with REAL goals, instead of just cones.A completely different game compared to when playing with Cones or PUGG goals.

Cons:
1) Assembly ( takes about 3 minutes to put up the frame, and 2 minutes to put the net up.
2) Dis-assembly - same as above
3) No Carry Bag Included.I purchased a separate 42"x25" Bag to house the goals in.
4) WEIGHT.. They are 25LBS EACH.So a total of 50lbs to be carried to and from car.
5) Size.Takes a a Decent amount of space in my trunk.

Overall VERY satisfied with the Build quality, especially for the low price.

The boxes that came with the goals, got rained on in the first game we played.
The boxes are cardboard and got ruined.I purchased the following Duffle bag:
Side Zipper Canvas Duffle Bags

One 42x25" Bag holds both goals, nets, and a ball with room to spare.

Update August 2010

Our Net ripped on accident when a cleat was stuck in the net.
But its not big enough for a ball to go through so far we are fine.

Mylec Deluxe Soccer Goal, White, 72"L x 60"W x 48"H Review

(More customer reviews)We received this as a gift for my son who is 3.We put it together in less than 15 minutes - the instructions were clear, the parts well labeled and nicely made.The uprights and the base posts are filled with sand for stability, the tubing made from what seems to be standard plumbing pipe.

The football / soccerball is very light and clearly for young kids.The shin pads seem to be for kids in the 5 or above age range, and at this stage I would think they are more likely to be using a heavier ball than that supplied with the set.

I believe the goal would stand up OK to a "proper" size 3 ball if the base was staked into the ground, or the posts were cemented together with standard plumbing adhesive instead of leaving them pushed together.
All in all a good kit.

This product should be rated for kids 10 and under or beginners.Varsity High School athletes should not purchase this product due to their ability to throw high speed balls into the net which will cause holes in net and make net useless.Would not buy again.
