This fishing pole is sturdy. My 3yo has had it for over a month now and still loves it.She's practiced casting in the yard many many times (it comes with a little rubber-like fish for practice and play). She's also taken it with her to fish with Dad.It comes with 3 bobbers. She successfully caught fish with this pole using worm bait and had a great time. This is about the only fishing pole I could find that claims to float. We haven't tested that, but I'm confident that it does.Yes, it's Dora, but there's only one little tiny Dora and one tiny star on the whole thing.Otherwise, it is a nice deep violet color with some green and yellow.

Update:it does float!!

Gamma Rebound Net, Black/Red Review

Gamma Rebound Net, Black/Red

Cons: Quality, Durability, Difficult to Use, Poor Design

The first one I ordered came with a 90 degree bend in the outside circle, making it impossible to test the product. This was probably UPS, but the box looked ok. So, I returned it, and, after another week, received another one. This box looked like it had been through a wood chipper, but amazingly enough, the product was in good condition.

Unfortunately, the rebound net just doesn't work well, It is fairly unstable, and, even though there are two places to adjust the angle, even at the "flattest" angle the ball came back with almost no force at all. My daughter is a top ranked junior, and she hits hard, but while occasionally the ball did come back to her she really had to wail on it. And most of the time, she just made the entire net wobble and fall apart. The straps that are used to stabilize the net simply make the net curve inwards, making it risky to hit the ball *anywhere* but the exact center. Otherwise the ball careens off in another direction because of the net curvature. So, I made the straps barely taut, which kept the net somewhat flat, but unstable. In addition, the mechanism that is used to hold the net to the outside ring is sewed velcro, and one ball that hit the outside simply unsewed the velcro, so it fell off.

So, in short, the the box isn't strong enough to ship in, the quality of the product is poor, it isn't stable, and, while it *might* be passably useful for an 7-year-old learning to play tennis, I still wouldn't recommend it.
