FOR THE ITEM.THE SHIPPING, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY.THE STANDARD SHIPPING PRICE IS $7.95.THERE WAS AN OPTION TO HAVE THIS NET SHIPPED WITHIN 1-3 DAYS IF I PAID $24.95 FOR THE EXPEDITED SHIPPING.I ORDERED THIS ON FEB. 11TH & WAS PLANNING TO GIVE IT AS A VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT.IN ORDER TO HAVE IT HERE BY VALENTINE'S DAY, I DECIDED TO PAY THE MASSIVE SHIPPING CHARGES (I CALL IT MASSIVE BECAUSE IT WAS MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE NET @ $22.95) IN ORDER TO HAVE IT HERE FOR THE HOLIDAY.THEIR 1-3 DAYS TURNED INTO 6!!!I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE NET UNTIL YESTERDAY... 3 DAYS AFTER VALENTINE'S DAY.TO SAY I AM DISAPPOINTED WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT.I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS SUPPLIER.IF YOU MUST BUY THIS NET, THERE ARE MANY OTHER SUPPLIERS YOU CAN BUY IT FROM.AGAIN, WHAT A RIP-OFF IN SHIPPING.NOT JUST MIS-LEADING, BUT OUT-RIGHT LYING ABOUT THE SHIPPING TIMES.

(More customer reviews)The hardest part was finding the right place to attach the mounting screws, but once that is found the rest is easy.

The only things stopping an excellent rating are -- (a) the net is a bit shallow (about 1 foot flattened) and (b) more attachment types / shank diameters would cover all situations.

One can improvise on the second of the two, but overall -- great product. You won't be sorry you got it.

Highland 95015 Black Truck Tailgate Net Review

(More customer reviews)The 'description' I read before ordering this product indicated no screws or fasteners needed for installation, which turned out to be true.But, I
ordered it imagining it must somehow install using my truck's tailgate latch points on the truck bed.I was a little disappointed when the cargo net arrived to discover I was required to drill four small holes in the bed to allow for the net support rods to be installed.Four little plastic inserts are provided, which are then plugged into the holes where the support rod ends fit. You will need some silicone (not included) to seal these inserts in place.

It's no big deal, though, as the installation is otherwise easy and I am overall satisfied with this product.It's pretty good quality for as inexpensive as it is.If you don't like the white TURBO NET logo lettering it is easy to paint over with flat black plastic model spray paint, which is what I did.Big improvement!

Be forwarned this cargo net is primarily just for appearance. It wouldn't retain anything in the bed which weighed very much. I did take a large load of empty 1 gallon plastic milk containers to a recycling center and the net worked quite well keeping all those containers secure and in place.

(More customer reviews)We had to drill a hole on each side of the pickup tailgate area to make the Turbo-Net work which my husband wasn't too comfortable with but he did it and we used the Turbo-Net for the first time a couple weeks ago.We have a fifth wheel and it worked out beautifully.We don't just throw things in the pickup bed but usually have them in containers or boxes of some sort and that worked well also.It looks nice and does the job at a lot less cost than a typical metal tail gate.

(More customer reviews)I was quivering with excitment on the arrival of my cargo net.My hands were shaking as I opened the packaging."mmmmm" I thought, "what excellent use of high grade tape around a solidly constructed cardboard box", as I carefully used my scissors to free my wonderful prize.Once free of it's, no doubt, recycled prison I could see my purchase in all it's glory.What splendour in black nylon!What tenacious spring of the rubber rope around it's edge! How can man alone have fashioned such a fantastic thing as this, surely somewhere along it's slow trail to birth it was kissed by the Gods.My thoughts were racing - "no more escaped groceries, no more rolling bottles across the cavernous reaches of the luggage compartment of my car, no more thump as my snow scrapper hits my beautiful plastic interiors".I made my plans.A quick trip to purchase four shiny black carabiners and I could let her have her head and take her for a trail run.20 minutes later I nervously fixed my black beauty into place.Carefully I place my emergency pack and snow scrapper under her, feeling the might of her rubbery grip as I did so.I closed the tailgate.Starting the engine I gave up a little prayer to the Gods of luggage stowage.I pulled gingerly away before throwing the car into a series of sharp turns and every severe stops!Not one clang, not one bang, not one thud of scrapper against car was heard or felt.The joy, the exaltation, the heart thumping excitment of it all.

Well we have been together for a while now and "Ol' Blackie", as I have christened her, has never let me down.Sure we have had a couple of close things with rampant soup cans rolling perilously close to escaping and a number of odd shaped purchases threatening to burst through Ol Backies loving embrace, but none have suceeded in their struggles for freedom so far and I know as long as I treat her right Ol Blackie will never let me down.Well off to work out now and guess who will make sure my gym shoes aren't rolling around the back of the car - you got it!"Ol' Blackie I got a job for you!"

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these, one for each of our Honda Elements.In the back cargo area of the Element, we have a hook on each side to attach the net to, so we didn't have to use the adhesive tabs or drill holes or anything like that.My husband and I both LOVE these nets, I can't believe how long we went with groceries sliding around every time we stopped, accelerated, or turned a corner.I hated searching under the back seat just in case a can or package of cheese had managed to hide itself on the drive home, but no more!!The net solves that problem.The 3 pockets are nice, to keep groceries separated, or if you only buy one bag of groceries, it won't move around inside the net.
