(More customer reviews)The boys love catching stuff at the beach, and using the nets out of the water as well.Usually, similar nets gets destroyed around the rim, but the rim on these nets are fastened inside the protective rim.It allows the kids to drag the nets on the ground and over rocks etc without them getting torn up.The pics on the sellers website don't really show you this, but you will be impressed as soon as you open the box.The nets are worth twice as much as you pay for them.Cheapo nets with flimsy plastic handles cost just as much.These are made entirely of aluminum, are strong and very light weight.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this cargo net in preparation for a move from Texas to Northern Virginia.I ordered it three weeks out to allow plenty of shipping time.Unfortunately, what I did not plan for was the item being "out of stock".It was in stock when I ordered it and I even received a shipping notification.Unfortunately, the item was never received by the shipper and I was not notified of a stock problem until after I had phoned the vendor three times.Finally, on the third call I was told the item was out of stock and to not expect the item anytime soon.I requested and recieved a refund.The one star rating is for the vendor and not the product since I never did receive the cargo net.

The brackets were lighter than I expected.The are loseable pieces. I have lost one after 2 uses.It is somewhat difficult to set up for each use.

(More customer reviews)No one would look for a bs net to collect adult bs.For that any fine fish net would do the job.I was looking for a brineshrimp net for bbs. I bought 1 and found out it was too coarse to use for bbs. I asked Penn Plax, they told me that's for adult BS.How many fish hobbyist raise adult BSvs. hatching bbs?If a net was labeled brineshrimp net, every body automatically assummed it's for bbs which is most common with fish keeping. As I said above, if one were looking for adult bs net, he could use a fine fish net. I have older bs nets from Penn Plax, and the oldest one was perfect for bbs.The newer one is pretty lousy, only 30% of bbs get retained.The newest net is the worst. I believe that calling this net a bs net is totally misleading. Buyers beware.

(More customer reviews)We bought these for our 4-year-olds to catch stream creatures on weekend camping trips.We'd found that the fine-mesh butterfly nets we'd been using weren't up to the task. The kids wade through the shallow water using the handle end to turn over rocks and then flip the nets around to scoop up the hapless crayfish.The rectangular net opening is better for scraping along the stream bottom than the hoop-shaped type. The mesh is large enough to allow the net to be pulled rapidly through the water, but fine enough to catch the smallest minnows. After a half dozen trips and some hard use, the nets still look like new. The aluminum handle and frame are sturdy and the mesh is tough and fully intact.The heavy plastic guard that protects the mesh where it wraps around the frame also shows no wear. We are very pleased with the product.

(More customer reviews)Some middle-priced ping-pong tables come with really cheap nets.A net from DHS is a great solution to take your table almost to tournament level. This net is extremely well made - heavy duty clamps and posts, wide base to help keep the table halves even, and beautiful looking net.The net is drawn tight by a string across the top and two cleverly designed clips at the base of each post.Height is easily adjusted by knobs at the bottom of the posts - net height gauge included.I give the net 5 stars for quality but 4 stars overall because the instructions are sketchy and don't show how to properly attach the the tightening string to the posts.There are a surprising number of parts to this for something as simple as a TT net.I had to locate other pictures of this set on the internet to figure it all out.Each post has a cap with a slot across it like the head of a screw.Those slots must be aligned along the same line as the net, the string run through the slot and down the back of the post to where the clips fasten to the brackets.

(More customer reviews)There is no comparison with this net set to the one that typically comes with your table. I have a stiga 1 inch thick tournament table and the Europa is a great match. Thenet extends several inches past the end of the table on both sides.The anchoring mechanism is very well made, It does not scratch the table and has both height and tension adjustments. The anchoring screws have caps on them so it is easy to grip as opposed to the large needle eyes that come with a typical net achor. It also does a great job at leveling the two center ends of the table.

It's the least expensive fully adjustable set I found, and I'm satisfied with it.The net tension chains are easy to set up and use.My only objection is the tendency of the post height adjusters to relax after aggressive play, so check the net height often.

(More customer reviews)While the net itself seems like a good cloth-like quality, looks great, and at first glance the net posts seem strong and durable, I would not recommend this Net Set for serious competitive play.

The groove where the net string sits, to allow you to adjust net tension is far too shallow to provide a solid place for the string to sit.This would result in the net string frequently slipping out of the groove, thus ruining your net tension.Not to mention, I was not satisfied with the quality of some of the other components of the set.

Overall, for recreational play at home, this net set is not all that bad for the price.Considering a really good set can set you back anywhere from $80-$150. That said, after a little digging I was able to find a much higher quality product at a cheaper price than this one from another online table tennis retailer.

The plastic is hard, and I get no feeling that it will snap anytime soon. For the price range, I doubt you'd find a better net.

(More customer reviews)This is a great net.Sturdy, and the draw string within the white part of the top of the net makes it very taught.No easy overs with this net.Either clear the net, or be REJECTED!!!

They could spend a few pennies and include directions however.the black plastic attached to the string goes down the back of the blue post, and is locked in place.Took a bit of time to realize it.

That is the only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5.

(More customer reviews)This is easily the best net I've ever used. Perfect for situations where your table must be folded and moved to a new location each time you play. That's our setup where I play. Previous nets we've used lasted about a year before the posts would break. The clamp mechanism here hugs the table tightly with a strong spring, so tension of the net is never a problem. I don't understand the user who posted problems with net tensioning. It's totally simple. A steel rod goes inside the looped ends of the net, and then slides down the post into place. So, clamp on the posts, insert the rods into the end loops of the net, slide the ends into the hollow posts, then adjust fine tuning of the net tension with the top string extending from the ends of the net, and attaching to little notches in the post base. Presto. Easy, and works great every time. This post/net setup may well outlast the table, since there are no stress points at all! I'm buying another for my local clubhouse...
